三条市立大学がこのものづくりの聖地に開学して、3年が経ちました。燕三条地域を中心とする連携企業は140社以上にのぼり、産学連携実習というカリキュラムでは企業の皆様に、それぞれの実業の中で学生を育む環境を用意していただいています。もはや、燕三条地域全体が本学のキャンパスであるといっても過言ではありません。学生は、大学の講義で学んだ知識を現実社会で試す機会を得て、様々なトライ＆エラーを経験し、現場で活躍できる人材へと成長します。失敗をものともせずチャレンジし続けた歴史を持つ燕三条地域のプロフェッショナリズムに、学生は実社会を生き抜く力を学んでくるのです。

最先端の工学と技術マネジメントの知識に加え、アイデアを形にして社会に実装する力や、つまずいても立ち上がる力を備えた本学の「イノベーティブテクノロジスト」は、ここ燕三条から世界へと羽ばたきます。私たちはそんな未来のための人材を育成しサポートできることに、日々誇りと幸せを感じています。

Three years have passed since Sanjo City University opened its doors to students in this sacred land of manufacturing. The university has established a curriculum called "Industry Experience Program," in which companies provide an environment that nurtures students in their respective fields of business. It is no exaggeration to say that the entire Tsubame-Sanjo area is our university campus. Students have the opportunity to put the knowledge they have learned in university lectures to the real world, experience various trials and errors, and grow into an individual who can give positive impact. Students learn the ability to survive in the real world from the professionalism of the Tsubame-Sanjo area, which has a history of taking on challenges without regard to failure.

In addition to advanced engineering and technology management knowledge, Tsubame-Sanjo's "innovative technologists" are equipped with the ability to give shape to their ideas and implement them in society, and the ability to stand up even when they stumble. We are proud and happy every day to be able to nurture and support such talents for the future.
